Weekend Update!

This weekend... Well, it was not the most exciting weekend ever but it was extremely productive for me and I felt like I got a lot done.

Friday- This day was my super relaxing do-nothing day. All day, I stayed in and hung out on the computer, watched movies and tv, read, and most importantly relaxed. It was very nice. :)

Saturday- For hours, I practiced my audition song for Beauty and the Beast. The auditions are next Saturday, and I am trying out for Mrs. Potts.... Don't make fun of me! I am singing Tale As Old As Time, the theme song of Beauty and the Beast. Fun Fact: Mrs. Potts was the one that sang that in the movie, not Belle! I had no idea until a week ago! Ok, anyway, she has a British accent, so I sat at the computer from 9:00 to midnight practicing my accent. I've definetely improved, but I don't really sound British yet, and I still need work.

Sunday- I had forgotten all about my homework! :/ So, ALLL day I worked on my classes. I got pretty far ahead on my American History online class and finished everything else.

This week, I have take a dance class on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday to learn the audition dance for Beauty and the Beast and then it'll be auditions in two days after! I'm nervous and excited!! Wish me luck!

America Caused 9/11? I Don't Think So!

At the annual General Assembly for the U.N, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave theories as to who was really behind the attack on 9/11. This speech was told to 192 nations in the U.N1!!

<-- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Two theories were told in the presidents speech.

First, Mahmoud thought only the U.S. government believes a terrorist group was behind the attack. He thinks others do not share the same opinion as the government for the U.S.

The second theory blames the U.S. even more about the attack. Mahmoud states that he thinks "some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy, and its grips on the Middle East, in order to save the Zionist regime." In other words, the Iranian president thinks the U.S. attacked themselves to help the American economy and its hold on the Middle East countries.

Both U.S. and European delegations stood up during the presidents speech and left. The U.S. later replied to the Speech and said that instead of talking about the goodwill of the Iranian people, Mahmoud continues to speak "vile conspiracy theories and anti-Semitic slurs that are as abhorrent and delusional as they are predictable."

  <-- President Obama!

Before the speech, Obama spoke in the General Assembly and said "the United States and the international community seek a resolution to our differences with Iran, and the door remains open to diplomacy should Iran choose to walk through it." He also told the U.N. that "the Iranian government must demonstrate a clear and credible commitment."

<-- Nope. Iran wouldn't step through the door!

Apparently, Iran did not want to walk through Obama's 'door' to diplomacy. I think it was really childish of the Iranian government to try to blame the United States after all of these years. Instead of tryng to improve their relations, Iran chose to make stupid theories about what didn't happen. The theories are just what they believe and wished had happened.

I hope the United States doesn't let this get to their heads and that they become the adult out of the two because Iran did a very childish thing!

Just me!

Hey!! I'm Jenn, and this blog is all about me. :)

First, I'd like to say that I recently turned 15 years old, and I am super excited about that!! I have my permit date set, and I get my license in less than a year!!

Anyway, I live in Arizona, and unlike most people, I love it here! The summer can get a little warmer than I am comfortable with (115 degrees), but I definetely prefer it over the cold.  Cold sucks. Whoever likes to shiver and have their feet get super cold is crazy.

I am also a sophomore in high school, and I do pretty great in my classes. I love math, and I'm really good at it. I like to write, but I don't like my handwriting so typing suits me well. School is not my most favorite thing to go to, but I can sometimes really enjoy it, and I think it's a good way to get a routine going.

My family is the best family someone could have. We are all EXTREMELY close and I love it!!! (Well, I love being close almost all the time). My close family consists of two sisters, two brothers, two dogs, a mom, a dad, and a grandma. We never keep anything from anyone and I love them so much!

These little facts are just a small portion of me and my life. It is really hard to write everything about me in such little time and in one blog. So check in and i'll post more and more about me as I go. :)

Music in Transition!!!

Music has been heard for thousands of years!!! Whether it was created by using a single drum or an entire orchestra, music is there. It's changed drastically through it's years, and branched into hundreds of different groups that people listen to and make everyday.

I, like millions of other teenagers, listen to what is now known as hip hop. I personally think hip hop is great! The lyrics are sometimes more X-Rated than other music, but the sound and the way of the songs are what make hip hop what it is.

In the 1960's, the beginning of hip hop was born. To this day, hip hop has changed in many different ways. New sounds are always being created, and more technology is used to create music everyday. Instead of musical instruments, people use computers to make the background music of the song. The quality gets more clear everyday and the lyrics are even more x-rated then ever!!

Hip Hop is one of many popular groups of music! It's changed so much through time, and I think it's now better than ever!!!!!
